Disappointing news, indeed.

As the weeks past with no news it looked more and more likely that this would happen, though.

yeah, it always looked on the cards.. im so sad though, he really could have been anything.. He wasnt supposed to do that well as a 2yo but was as tough and genuine (and with alot of speed) as they come.. We do have some decent 3yos this year but Ill probably remember from this crop is the what might have beens for Teo and HRE!!

Just how i feel.

This fella could have been anything. As Jim Bolger once said "what he achieves at two is a bonus". Well, if that was just a "bonus" i hate to think what he would have done to the current 3yo crop, i'm certain we would have been saying "who is Authorized?". He would have destroyed him, and probably Cockney Rebel, too.

No one can be sure, but i think he would have done the Triple Crown.

I'm praying that New Approach can fill Teofilo's boots this year AND next

Definitely, been expecting this for a while.

Would have been nice to see him race again though, a real shame.

Isn't owned by Darley though, The Bolger's still own him, which is very interesting. Maybe the Sheikh has realised that greed isn't the only way forward.

They better not mess it up for him, though otherwise they will be out of there.
