The best book on pace, in my opinion, is Thoroughbred Handicapping: State of the Art, by William Quirin. It is old, but well worth reading, and a much better read than the Brohamer work.

I just read Klein's "The Power of Early Speed" and found it very intriguing. . .

Once again thanks for all the responses, I'm finding pace the most difficult part to get my head around fully. Can't tell you how much the suggestions are appreciated.
