Default Great Pic!

Okay now we are getting excited! Watched Saturday's races on the computer; can't wait to see everyone and our girl live. I can smell the BBQ now. Bringing the teenagers to finally meet her in person! Shorter ditance for us now from MTL. A big win and a big cocktail at Sirois!!!

Not sure.... I have yet to see him in person. My farm manager in NY recommended him to me and we will get to see him next Saturday or Sunday.

Did you name that horse, or did he come that way?

He came that way. (Wiseman's Ferry - Sued)
My six year old wanted to name him Wind Devil.... He was not happy at first but seems to have gotten over it....

Got a chance to see SWLY yesterday. Boy, is she impatient! I couldn't get the peppermints unwrapped fast enough. She was so impatient she started kicking the stall with her left hoof until I delivered. Once she got her mints she was as sweet as ever. She made a friend for life with my wife. Her next door stallmate is a big colt named Elite Squadron who's going in the Amsterdam today. They had to add a partition above the regular wall between them to keep them apart. Maybe that's her new beau. Anyway, she looked and acted great.

I'm glad the "non-horsey" owners get to meet Sumwon, and put a face and personality on the horses going around the track. Hey PMac, if your kids draw pictures of Sumwon, you have to photograph them and post them here - would love to see them

Thanks for all the pictures and the Sumwon and Saratoga stories!

That's why I said "STOP THE PEPPERMINTS" she now enjoys being pet and that should be enough. If she ever hurts herself whoever is feeding her the peppermints at that time should pay the vet bill.....And scavs is right her kicking action is a lot more vigorous, requiring a matt so she doesn't dig a hole and she's getting real close to that metal hook. This is not a cute habit.
