Thanks for the post, Beth... you won't be heading to the Spa?

I'll be sure to get you a program for her August 5th date and take some photos.

Thanks :-) Hoping for lots of photos!

At this time I definitely cannot make August 5th if the race goes, but may come up opening day, or for a week after the 5th.

PS thanks Shadow. Can't wait to hear of Sumwon's Tales from the Spa!

Riot,

Let me know if you'll be around at all between the 11th and 18th. We have a group that will have a few tables in the Festival Tent for most of that week. The rest of the time we will probably have tables in the Carolina Barbeque area.

Thanks, but not even remotely close to our fearless leader Steve Re-reading his summaries of Sumwon's races, it's almost more exciting than being there!

Thank you for the info. As one of the east coast partners, this makes me even more excited to see her in person for the first time. Can't wait for 8/5!

thank you for a very nice report on the farewell visit, looking back at all the updates and photos from everyone who got to see her starting from FGNO, KEE, CD, then AP, it's been quite a ride so far - cant help but be a little sentimental yet excited knowing this is her last night (now morning lol) in Louisville...

Glad Sumwon got some send-off peppermints to tide her over for the van ride to Saratoga - think anyone's told her where she's headed or is it going to be a big surprise ???? safe travels to our girl and all the barn connections - fingers crossed for decent weather and GOOD drivers!!

Thanks, if I can be there, I'll find you!

Steve will be at Saratoga Monday - Steve, can you post an update after your show, after she arrives?

I think Sumwon will love Saratoga. It's too hot here in KY in the summer (although it's been mild lately). The smell of the pines, the cooler weather ... better than living in the city at Churchill. Plus, she's a smart horse, I think she'll enjoy a change of scenery.

She might develop a crush on one of those big, rawboned steeplechase horses she'll be stabled near
