[Damascus '67]

No one has probably ever heard of this one. He was supposed to be the second coming of Native Dancer, ( in the Delaware Park circle anyway.)

His name was Leematt and I do believe he won the Carter one year. He was almost all white.

Absolutely no such thing as a pure "white" horse, unless we're talking albino. Wasn't there an albino named like Jesus Christ or something that ran down in Louisiana the last few years?

If it was a Thoroughbred, it wasn't in Louisiana or I would have seen him.....

Swear I remember reading a Bloodhorse article at some point on a pure white TB running down south somewhere in the last three or four years.

Yes, good point, albinos generally have a ton of health issues, obviously. Think I read that there have been 36 registered white thoroughbreds in US history.

You know what is REALLY interesting and ironic, Bill... The White Fox is by Pioneering (the half to Storm Cat.) Same sire as Beecher (that gelding I sent you a picture of.)

In case anyone is interested, there is a registered white thoroughbred filly named Deewhite by Trust N Luck out of a Gone West mare that will probably be at the next sale at Keeneland.

I took a look at the White Fox site. Then decided to not make a comment.
The half to Storm Cat explains those knees. Geesh!

Almost all white. He had black hairs that ran through his whole coat. Didn't say he was all white...
