It was all humor people, and maybe it says more about the fact that I rarely joke here that it wasn't seen as such but the Wed. selections caught my eye at about 700 AM when I picked up my Wednesday form and I thought it was interesting and combined with owning a piece of her myself I thought I could have some fun with it......sorry if you really believed I was serious saying that Hersh actually interviews horses. I thought it was an interesting observation given every other expert pick in the form had SWLY as an obvious winner I thought it was an opportunity to be a bit of a homer with MY horse. I'll bet Hersh would probably laugh as Steve did "lol". If a Yankee fan makes fun of the Red Sox it is seen as a biased opinion given the loyalty of the fan to New York why can't an owner have a little fun defending his horse. A deep breath and a smile will change the perception of all of this...... |

Here is Ron Uchman's (another public handicapper) take on the race. He has Sumwon off the board as well. Is he going to be ripped for "attacking" Sumwon too?
Race 8 - 6-GREEN DOOR takes on winners for the first time but she gamely broke her maiden in her first main-track route race and she ran very well in her other Polytrack start, before running out of real estate. The turn back to a mile should suit her just fine. She had three good drills in the five weeks since that last start. Should be in contention from the start. 8-GAZELLA easily won her local debut then ran very well in her first start against winners. She did tire a bit late in that last start but she probably moved too soon. Beaten favorite could make amends in this one. 1-QUEEN OF THE RIDGE and 1a-CLASSIC TIARA are coupled in the wagering and only one might race but both are coming off turf starts where they went off at long prices and showed little but both have been successful when they moved to Polytrack in the past. 6-8-1-1a Personally, I hope these guys are wrong and she runs well and hits the board again today for you guys. |
