I've never enjoyed a single race meet more than I've been enjoying this one so far. Full fields, competitive races, and an incredibly fair Polytrack that doesn't discriminate largely against a single type of horse.

Anyone have any reasonably priced but good restaurants they can recommend for dinner in the area?

Bob Chinn's.

Its in Wheeling, about 5 miles east of the track. Great seafood and steaks.

For Italian, Francescas...Just South of DT AH, about 6 minutes from the track

Best food near AP is definitely Bob Chinn's.... best seafood in Chicago.

If you'd want Chicago style pizza, then go to Gino's East in Rolling Meadows, about 5 minutes south of AP.
