I agree Joey....I walk to and from Queens Villiage fairly frequently but it's over a mile, and many of the patrons are somewhat elderly, it's hot as hell, and a lot of people don't know to do this or where it is. The much simpler solution would be for LIRR to stop screwing people and simply leave 30 minutes after the final race as they were doing for over 15 years.

Pouring at Belmont now. Looks bad to me. Possibly a few flickers of lightning visible on simo.

The amazing thing is that there isn't really a hint of a thunderstorm in NYC.

And it's beautiful in Brooklyn. Heard a rumble or two of thunder before, but sunny skies right now.

Same in Jamaica... Thunder, poured for 10mins, now sun is back out.

May end up just being a quick downpour.
