It's really shameful that forum members continue to mecilessly berate and villify a hard working and super sucessful guy. Kudo's to the author of the article for pointing out the obvious. Assmussen is good at what he does. The proof is in the quality of clientele that support him and the results that he gets with the horses that they provide him with.

If you like Asmussen..certainly your right..then you should dislike the article even more. It's just not good journalism and is embarrassing to SA because it's so biased and makes him look lame with his "excuses".

Come on man, seriously. The guy is a CHEAT. I'm sure he works hard, but 22 (registered and charged...) positives unfortunately trumps the respect gained for his hard work.

By the way, his biggest client is his BROTHER.

asmussen gets clients because some people want to WIN, regardless of how. they aren't in for the good of the game or the horses, a desire to have a blast.
