Of course the fresher horse will have the advantage. Not doubting his talent, its there. But he will never capture the hearts of fans the way this reformed claimer Lava Man has. Hes just one of the many exceptional horses the Silver Fox trains. He will be forgotten. Lava Man wont. We'll still be talking about him 10 years from now. Heck he may even still be racing
