I've already shared my food thoughts about Saratoga......and they don't include most of the places people like.

Just load up at the Carolina Barbeque.

To each his own...I love the ambiance of both Grey Gelding & Tiznows. Both cook a good filet and the GG has a good wine list.

I haven't eaten at the Grey Gelding but I had drinks there the last time I was in town.

Tiznow is a nice place but I give up on their food. I've eaten there a few times and I just don't like it.

Honestly I don't think anything in Saratoga matches up to my favorite spots in Newport, RI and because of this I stick with my main staples of Cobb Salads or filets which are pretty hard to screw up if you cook it med rare.

I do think the Horseshoe and Parting Glass seem dirty.
