Which race is this? I checked the Arlington condition book and only saw an allowance race for 1 mile (there is a claiming race at 8.5f).

I believe it is the 7th race on 7/11, which in itself is kind of amusing.

I also noticed a race on 7/5, same distance, same condition, but limited to 3 year olds.

I hope she does well next time she runs.

Damn! I was hoping you guys would bring her here, but I'll be out of town that week and won't be able to see her.
Oh well. I'm glad to hear she is feeling better, and for those of you who will be going to Arlington for the first time.........you'll love it. It is a first-class facility.

Using the complex theory of extrapolation I'll go with 9-1.

I'd expect much longer than that, given Byenne is 15-1 in there and has looked pretty darn good at basically the same current class that Sumwon is at right now. A filly she beat came back to run a pretty bang-up race at AP on Sunday, losing to a nice winner and a horse who had won two in a row at the same level (for a tag the second time). Unless bettors were unequivocally convinced that Sumwon was going to take a big step forward, I'd be thinking at least 15-1 in there, probably closer to 20-1.

It's irrelevant anyway, and what the heck do I know, but wanted to throw my two cents in.

That's a pretty tough field for a Prairie Meadows race like that, probably better that she doesn't go there.

Here are the nominations with PP's... which included Sumwon...

In the long run, I think you will see that it is good not to run Sum over that Prairie Meadows racetrack. 1) I can't figure that track out for nothing and 2) it seems that horses just aren't the same after they run over it, alot of arlington people ship over for it and when they ship back, they were good bet againsts (back when it was dirt, not sure with it being poly if that will hold)

OK....debating on whether or not to book the flight yet.

Does this sort of race have a hard time filling? Can we wrap her in bubblewrap until the day so we know nothing goes wrong with her? LOL Flights are going for around $300 and you never know where they will be next week...

we're in the same boat! worst yet, we can fly from our local airport (10 min. drive) instead of the 90 min. drive to bwi, plus parking.

I took the leap of faith and booked my trip after hearing everything went well with the workout. If something comes up thats horse racing. Havn't seen are girl run yet, but its much easier and cheaper to get to Chicago than Louisville and Lexington and for that matter Saratoga. Hope to meet a bunch of DT'ers for the first time. Will still try to go to 'toga if she runs there.

Tom
