I am not sure why he thinks that. Her sire and broodmare sire were both G1 winners going 10f, her dam was a multiple graded stakes winner at this distance (8.5f), and she seemed to have plenty of run left down the stretch in her last start despite getting pressed early.
I know it is hard for DTers to be objective about her, but it seems to me like this distance should be right up her alley.

Her TG sheet is screaming a move forward. She got one hell of a weight break IMO and if she listens to Willie, she will go 49 and steal this bitch.....

Sumwon's pattern is good. What do you think of Le Peaks?

That pattern is also strong, but this horse hasn't seen a real dirt track since Dec 06. I consider sloppy as turf racing Also getting 14lbs from here, which is like 10 lengths....we are not 10 lengths slowers then that horse

14lbs is eqaul to 10 lengths? I'd say is closer to 4.5 lengths. That seems strong.

Default Clocker report - B

"Worked from the 5f pole and was going well when asked a little down the stretch and into the turn. In fractions of 24.3, 37, 1:01 to the wire before going on into the turn to fnish in 113:3"

no mention of Moonee Ponds in the clocker report. Just as well.. That Damn Le Chateau really gets my goat. Why don't they just skip this race and try Grade 2 again.

I think if she wins this, it'll be with a stalking trip. There's other speed.

I will be at the Downs today. Probably won't make it tomorrow because I have a wedding to mess with. If anyone's up there today, call or txt me at 314-307-2389. If someone could txt me the results after the race that would be cool, thanks.

You are off your rocker. she will be in front until she can't no more, no way she isn't going to try and go gate to wire. Unless Simon is up to some games : )

What the hell are you talking about? Philips Pride is a hellbent speed horse and there are three other horses stretching out that could show speed. I think it would be crazy to send SWLU to the lead, and she doesn't need to be on the front end anyway..

He's probably basing it on the speed and fade at 8.5f at Kee. A lot of people will look at that and say she's going to have problems getting the trip....we know better though.
