what about horses like Early Pioneer, and that horse that won the Stephen Foster last year. Your telling me they are true grade 1 horses as well and can compete with the best?

Oh for the love of pointgiven1985, now he is saying that a horse that has won SIX G1s (Lava Man) is not a G1 caliber horse. I am not a big fan of Lava Man, and he certainly has some severe limitations as a racehorse, but once a horse wins six G1s, saying that he isn't G1 caliber is just foolish.
Give up trying to convince him otherwise. He apparently just doesn't get it.

besides circular quay and ravel, that is not too bad of a list

premium tap should be on that list though an he is no doubt in anyones mind (except for seattles) that he is a grade 1 horse. Premium Tap should be like 3 or 4 on that list. Didnt he win some big Arabian stake this year (Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup (KSA,12F). And, according to the NTRA, he won two Grade 1 and historically major races in the Woodward and Clark.

2.5 million in winnings aint too shabby either

of course. If Todd Pletcher, Mclaughlin, or someone else trained the horse it would of defeated Invasor

its the way Bernardini won, wasnt like he had been racing for a while and all of a sudden became a johnny come lately. Theres a reason why he was 50-1 in the Woodward, I dont think a horse that took about 7 races to clear his allowance condition is a super grade 1 horse

And I'm still waiting for an answer as to why winning the grade 1 Woodward, running 3rd in the BC Classic to a HOY and 3 year old champ, and running second to that same HOY again does not make him a grade 1 caliber horse. I have a feeling I'll be waiting a long time for this answer.

For s hits and giggles, would it be possible for you to give me a few examples of grade 1 caliber horses running right now. And please, try and make it as amusing as your top 10 list, I need a good laugh.

The last time he did a top horses in training list I believe horses like Ravel were on it. There were some other really funny ones as well.
