The last thing people like you want is for conflict to resolve. Cede land (actually give it back, some would say)? No way. Single state? Oh, hell no, then they could vote. No, people like you want and need conflict so you can have the issue. Without it, what would you do? Learn to think on your own without consulting your beloved Sowell? No, you need the issue. After all, it's all you really have. And it's far easier for you than having to think for yourself.
