As a fan I would love to see her run.

I would much rather see Curlin, Street Sense And Hard Spun not race in the Belmont. The mile and a half is not the right venue to carry on this rivalry. Racing would be better served by them continuing their rivalry as fresh horses tn the Travers

I was astonished to hear that Hard Spun was going to run in the Belmont. I would be really surprised if SS goes. And I still have my doubts that Curlin will go.

Without the top 3, I think we'll have a very good betting race
with a deeper field. I agree with others who noted it would be nice to see Street Sense and Curlin face off again in the Travers or Haskell as fresh horses. I think they could both use a freshining for summer/fall. |

If two or more of the "Big Three" decide to pass the Belmont, I'd be shocked if Pletcher didn't enter Rags to Riches in the Belmont. Desperate people do desperate things (see entry of Circular Quay in the Preakness).

Why isn't the Belmont the best place to continue this rivalry? It's one of the three most watched races by the public - even without a Triple Crown on the line - and I guarantee you average folks might tune in simply because of the presence of these three. I hope all three make it there and I hope Hard Spun wins.
