Here are the Brisnet Past Performances for those interested: http://www.brisnet.com/bris_link/pdf..._llc_74660.pdf
Three of these guys are CUTTING BACK to 12f. You don't see that every day.

Rising Moon jumped way up his last race when he went T to dirt on a good track. broodmare sire's avg winning dist was 9 f. an interesting entry here.

You are right.
In addition to having an AWD of 9f, the broodmare sire (Nijinsky) of course won several rather important 12f races across the pond, and was an English TC winner.
Rising Moon's sire (Runaway Groom) was also a multiple stakes winner at 12f, and won the 10f Travers Stakes.
Rising Moon certainly has the pedigree for a 12f race. I don't think he's quite as talented as others here, but he might be worth a shot if the odds are right.

This is such a bad spot for Funny Cide. But I stil love when I see a race with Evening Attire and Funny Cide in any race. I would say that neither of them hits the board, but it is stil great to see them on the track.

Albeit an upset aided by an elongated head-to-head pace battle between the two superstars.

thats how i read that chart. the two favorites knocked each other out in a speed duel. Its the only way a horse comes from last to win a 1 1/4 mile race in a six horse field. Any kind of sensible pace and he won't get there.

Funny Cide set the pace and had a 6 length lead early on before fading to third. Evening Attire was fourth.

Didn't see the race , just looked at the chart , think FC could of been rated a bit better. This horse always seems to be a victim of his connections.
