I would love to see that happen. I'll keep my "ears" out for any news from Jim Jerken's barn and let you know. This would certainly be a triumph for both Jim J and Corinthian after a big disappointment. He won't run him if he's the least bit suspect. The Mid Summer Derby is what he was aiming for. Stay tuned. After just seeing him demolish another field, Afrashad is going to win the BC Sprint. I'm not sure if it's bold enough, but this horse is a freak.

David Junior off the board in the Coral Eclipse (..... unlike Aussie Rules).
Alexandrova wins the Irish Oaks. Iffraaj wins the Darley July Cup. Peeress and Maraahel join Dylan, Araafa and Pride, who each add another Group 1 win this summer. Pride hits the board in the Arc. My Miss Storm Cat defeats the lovely and talented Dubai Escapade in the Princess Rooney. (Okay not really sure about that last one, but.....) I'll say that I think the BC winners will be:
Sprint-Henny Hughes/Bordonaro Distaff-Mo Cuishle/Fleet Indian Turf-Hurricane Run Mile-Cacique F/M Turf-Ouija Board/Film Maker Classic-Bernardini/Discreet Cat Hurricane Run becomes the first horse to win the Arc/BC Turf double and is named 2006 World Horse of the Year. Lukas wins one of the 2yo races at the BC. There will be a grade one in NY with only three horses.
