I used to go meet by meet as a bit picture. Start out with a certain amount, and then see where I end up. I kept track as I went along so I could alter, adapt, improvise, etc. It didn't really matter much because without the "fear" of going to zero you can play more aggressively -- it changes the dynamic . . . but then again, I have too much respect for money, LOL.

I am probably a better "gambler" than I am handicapper. Thankfully my partner is the opposite. A merger of compliments to say the least, LOL.

For IRS purposes, I save my tickets and staple them to the program, race by race. IRS will accept this, but not tickets randomly collected.

They will accept randomly collected, but it is an argument. Your way is argument free, my way (tickets with a rubberband) there is an argument that I always win

Again, you DO NOT need to save your tickets for the IRS. It's not that hard. The IRS doesn't care if you win or lose, they just want to be sure they get what they are supposed to. All you need is a log. Does anyone really think the IRS expects everyone to save all of their losing tickets? Of course not. A simple log, showing a daily, or weekly profits or losses will suffice.

Does anyone keeps seperate tabs of your pick 3,4,6 from your traditional W,P,S,Tri, Ex, ect bets.
