If you end up booking in Albany, we have had good luck with the Crowne Plaza. Nice place and we got super cheap rates last few times.

I'll try to come up for Saturday and Sunday too if I can find a place to stay I can afford. I'm in a play Friday night (curse you, Midtown Theater Festival! Do you not understand there is gambling to be done?) so I'll come up early Saturday.

They are quoting about $209 per night and up for that weekend!

I'm not opposed to chipping in with people on a room for Saturday night, anyway, as long as Kev promises me said people aren't crazy (since he seems to talk to just about everyone on this board. ).

Kev, please don't tell them I'm crazy. I need a place to stay Saturday night!

I'm arriving on Wednesday evening (July 25th) and departing on Sunday evening (July 29th.) I think I have the first couple of days worked out, but wouldn't mind staying in a hotel on Saturday night. I wonder if we can go riding somewhere up there? That would be so much fun.

Prices like that and I'm staying home on Long Island. It's not worth driving up for 48 hours with fuel and tolls, hotel and food/drinks.
