I could definately see that. I cannot see him even starting the Belmont, much less winning it, but the Dandy is a race for him.

Training in bar shoes is not really a big deal. Racing is.

Did anybody see Scat Daddy's trip? Midway on the backstretch he ran up on somebody and his head was literally cocked to the left over the other horse's hip and then was bodyslammed by another horse from the outside, after that he spit the bit and Prado just stood up on him. I dont think he wouldve won the Derby, but certainly couldve put up a better effort.

I didn't see this, but I think he is better than his effort on Saturday.

This year's Florida Derby ended up being one of the worst Grade 1 preps I've seen in terms of Derby success. Who would have thought the Lane's End would have held it's form so well?
