Curlin and Hard Spin both showed that they are the real deal. Expect them to improve. Triple Crown is just too much to ask of SS, let him skip the two other races and get ready for the breeders cup.

As a horse owner I am not kidding. These horses are still growing and they need time between races.

What about the non-Derby horses? Last year we had Bernardini, a very talented horse that skipped the Derby and was targeted towards the Preakness. That kind of fresh horse could have an advantage over many of the Derby contenders. Maybe it's just speculation at this point, but what non-Derby horses do you think could be strong contenders in the Preakness?
