Look if you feel Street Sense will go off the fave by a good margin and Nobiz will be taking lots of money, he will drift up and be 5-1 or better. Again, just think people seem to have more questions for him that other horses.

I will leave Curlin off my bets, the lack of foundation and experience is a lot to overcome and I'll wager he doesn't....IF he wins the Derby, he instantly elevates to superhorse...I wouldn't be disappointed because that would certainly bring the TC back into play...but I would be surprised!

I feel like you do, that Curlins odds move up when the real wagering begins. I don't know about 6-1, but I am skeptical of him going off as the fave. I think SS will be the one people gravitate towards more so than Curlin when they start taking a real close look.

I'd bet everything to my name he doesn't go off the favorite. Barring a scratch of Street Sense. Not a chance.

Remember that a ton of the money going into the pool is from novices, or people that play once or twice a year.
They may not pay attention to historical trends...
Since Curlin is the morning line favorite, he'll get a ton of money based on that alone.

I like Curlin 'cuz he's got to have the ugliest head on any TB that I've seen for a loooooonng time. Poor thing. For that reason alone, I'm kind of rooting for him, ML and poor betting prospects or not...
