Only one of numerous hyperbolic statements we are likely to hear this week.
How many workouts will be "the best I've ever seen"?

Someone should make a list of them.

It is reminiscent of what Howard Cosell used to do when he was the broadcaster of the Derby. During Derby week he would visit every trainer and tell each of them that they were going to win the Derby. That way, no matter who won, during the post-race interview he could say " I told you that you would win this Derby."

This chatter about Stormello is probably as solid as what they said yesterday at Hollywood. On TVG they had mics on Currin and Desormeaux before the ninth race. They were both gushing about how great Freesgood was going to run, Kent was saying he would win, Currin was saying that they were going to make some money, blah, blah, blah. I was skeptical because I didn't think Freesgood was a router. Result? dead last finish. never a factor.

That's why the mute button is on. I don't want my thought processes spoiled by the inane chatter and opinions of the hosts or the bs coming from the paddock. I saw them talking but didn't hear a thing....and didn't play the horse...to no avail.
