Doesn't Keeneland still put up the big red circle (looks like a Bulls-eye). on a post left of finish line to show what finish line is in use for that race. Or these two goofs are color blind to the color of red.

So many people trying to diss my guy...

How many times have you heard a jock apologize for a ride TO THE PUBLIC???

How about 1 out of 100. **** happens, which is why it is gambling, and not considering investing. It is like when the dealer is showing a 6 and goes and pulls 21 on your ass, **** happens

You don't see Laviolette misjudging finish lines.

Oh gee whiz, he said he was sorry, but then said that the stake win makes up for it???? Not to the owner/trainer/bettors of the horse he screwed up on. The stakes win made up for HIM and that is all he cares about. Hell after the Kotashan race he pouted to everyone and anyone who would listen how it was going to affect his earnings, his jock standings, his this, his that. To hell with the fact that he screwed the owners,trainers,help/bettors out of a multi million dollar purse. He has been on my Sh*t list since then. I pull for all the jocks from here, except him. Not that he cares, but it makes me feel better.

I am no kent d fan but that seemed like an honest mistake, it was the other rider who stood up and I think he just followed suite. some action probably needs to be taken to protect the public. there is alot worse stuff that goes on then that honest mistake.

You are correct. In Hooves selection thread right after the race, I called it a monkey see-monkey do move by KD. Doesn't excuse it though.

Scavs is just trying to wind us up. He would've been going ballistic if he had done one of his classic load ups on this horse.

Answering a previous poster, the last time I was at Keeneland (about 3yrs ago), yes, they were moving the red target circle when they switched from a sprint to a route.

does he not get banned for doing something like misjudging the finish line and not riding out to the line? Can the stewards do that? In Britain, its an automatic 21 day holiday and it's alot worse in Asia and Australia..

Your analogy is completely wrong. Kent cost this horse the win, no one else did.
Dude, I would be pissed if I bet the horse, I won't deny that but dude, **** happens is what I am trying to say.

Do I even have to respond to such an easy response. This is because he always is running 5th, he hasn't seen the Arlington finish line in like three years in an allowance race.

I would have but again, 9 times out of 10 I get a good ride out of this guy, a perfect example was this past Sunday on McPeek's Glitterman horse, this horse wanted to go touch the toteboard a couple times and almost tossed Kent three times, but that didn't happen because he is Kent Desormeaux, Scav's go to jockey when needs to get out

I tend not to get pissed at rides that much unless it is when they go a bizillion wide and have no shot. Which is why I never bet Albarado, or at least try not to.

FYI, another tidbit I will hide in this thread, the Laviolette off theory will be in full affect at Arlington in the opening weeks, allocate tons of money towards these and you will have 5 tons of money afterward the first month.

If they are not in a finish for the win position there are too many jocks not riding their horses out. Time after time when the photo finish picture is posted you will see jocks standing up before the wire.

It's time the stewards starting giving days or fines, maybe that will get their attention
