From the scrappy teams with Ryne Sandberg and Leon Bull Durham, Bobby Denier & Keith Morland fro cryin out loud! The the Hawk Andre Dawson, had some great years.

Man, I grew up watching those guys play! That was right about the time we first got cable TV. I remember comming home from school toward the end of the school year and my pops watching the afternoon Cubs games (before they got lights). I collected all the cards! I remember buying a Leon Durham rookie card from a store my freshman year from a collectable store by my Highschool for a buck! I think I may have lost money on that one, LOL. I did dig the Cubbies back then. The deer, the hawk, you forgot the penguin, Ron Cey! 1986 squad had Greg Maddox on it, DUH! One of many stars the Cubs let get away!

Look at the squad they had back then!

and they went 70-90???
