My first trip to the track was in the summer of 1987. I'd just graduated from high school. My father was trying to get me to go, so he told me I'd probably get served(booze) at the track. We went and we had a blast. I was hooked!!

I'm going to cry.

My first love took me to the track at 16.... he was in college. Then again with my first husband... my kids since before they could walk but non of them are real race fans... weird how it either sticks or it doesn't.... my girls have both helped out at the track or farm... Chris on the tecnical end... my other son great at picking them but doesn't play anymore...

When I took the kids I would let them pick and wager for them... the girls picked by colors and how pretty the horse was. My son liked to pick by who had the nicest ass... lol some things never change! lol

First time was 1980 @ Saratoga (I was 16), I really wasn't into the horses then.
When I got my first (real) job in '86, met a guy who played everyday...the rest is history!
Took my step kids in 1991, they were little then and three year's ago my step daughter
worked over there in the summer when she was out of college.
