Actually Sulamani, owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, entered stud at Dalham Hall Stud, at Newmarket in 2005. His first crop may start running in 2008. He will be shuttled to Brasil only to the 2007 breeding season as I know.

As an FYI for those unfamiliar with FMC... He alerted all of us to the quality and merits of OLD DODGE a good 6 months before he started to make an impact on American soil...

He's Samba-rific! THX FMC!

Great call, I've never been interested in South American racing, but knowledge can never hurt -- and you seem to be really in tune with it. Carry on!

He also was the first to give us in NA a heads up on a certain horse bred in Argentina that went on to be Horse of the Year, INVASOR!

I bet him in the Pimlico Special based on FMC's glowing report.

Great idea FMC, I look forward to reading your updates and news about SA horses.

ARGENTINA

I told about a filly on the international area of this board:

Qué Piensa Cat - (2yo filly) 2 wins in 3 starts (including G1), an Easing Along filly, out of the Compatible mare, Compenetrada.
She beat Husson's (this one largely discussed on that thread) track record on her last start - Gran Premio Eliseo Ramírez (G1) at San Isidro. She won by 8 lenghts, with 1'18"23 (1.400m turf).

She has just been sold to international owners and is, probably, going to the USA.

Together with her is going Gran Estreno (by Lucky Roberto), winner of GP Jockey Club (G1)
