Do you think that since Any Given Saturday came back from the Tampa Derby to run bad that Street Sense could throw in a clunker? I don't mean run 2nd. I mean run out of the Tri.

I have to say that Street Sense has always been my horse. He will be running on the turn and by the time the camera switches angles for the home stretch, he's jumped to the lead.

Does anyone have his works since the Tampa Bay Derby?

I think Street Sense is far less likely to "throw in a clunker" here than AGS last week.
AGS was originally pointed to this race (which was 4 weeks after his last) and then switched to a race 3 weeks out at the last minute.
Street Sense will have another week off and presumably will have had a more appropriate training schedule because he has been pointing to this race all along. There is also the small fact that I think SS is simply a better horse than AGS.
That being said....I still like Great Hunter.

I thought Teuflesberg looked the best in his work, but I think he might be in over his head at this distance. I can see him being a serious sprinter.

he does have a beautiful reach to his stride when asked. Deadly Dealer looked like he was going to explode if they didn't allow him to run.

Agree, I think he will a great a 6f to 7f horse and possibly
a one turn mile horse.

Wow. You wanna see a racehorse in a perfect workout, turn on Street Sense and watch him explode when the rider gives the cue. Didn't even seem to work hard and he went :58.2!!!

I'm actually rooting against him in the Blue Grass so I get a better price on Derby Day.

I actually wrote about that very same thing on my blog right after the Juvenile. A loss here adds a few points on Derby Day, especially if it's to Great Hunter!

I was looking at the PPs for this race and have to wonder when Teuflesburg is going to get passed. I'm going to include him in my exotics and believe it or not - actually leave him in the 1st position on a couple.

You can get any horses works at DRF. Click on "Entries" then "Workout Search" Then go from there. It's a very useful tool.
