That was truly sad . I was a HUGE Pine Island fan. The DQ cost me what would have been a huge TRI, but with the breakdowns it didn't bother me as much. I was more concerned about the horses and Javey at that point.

I hit the tri because of the DQ... but didn't care because I felt so awful about Pine Island. Fleet Indian pulled up right in front of us and I knew she would be ok. Santos did a nice job getting her under control quickly when he sensed something was amiss.

A friend of mine at work had the EX because of the DQ too. He boxed those two every time they raced.
