I don't think it is "an insane spot to be going in." I mean, he has to start somewhere and a G3 sprint for 3yo seems like as good as spot as any. He certainly has a chance to win.

That being said, for me he is a definite "bet-against" in this race. Off of a layoff this long we can't be sure that he will be back to his 2yo form in his first start, and for that matter we can't be sure that he will EVER return to form. I have not looked at the pp yet, but I suspect there will be a good price to bet in this race.
For some reason I just have a feeling that HH is going to place in this spot. Not sure why (like I said I have not even looked at the pp) but looking at the field I just have that gut feeling that HH is running second.

the thing is that I agree with Steve and I play alot of MCL's horses off the layoff, he does really good with those types. I am guessing that he didn't want to see all the speed that is in the race or the rail for that matter....

I'm still wondering if Keyed Entry has fully recovered from his derby run. I think Fabulous Strike is dangerous in this spot. His race on Belmont Day (versus Too Much Bling and Songster) was pretty good.
