Dont think so. The hold would have been tighter. And its questionable even with another furlong if he would have gotten him anyway. Cornelus had him throttled down at the very end.

They could have gone around again and sightseeing would still be hanging there.

If that was the case I dont think Shug would be skipping the derby.
