I never know which horse is going to show. I do wish the horse luck because I think he is talented and we need some more talent in the older horse division.
I think you said what I was thinking. I would like to see them in an exacta with Corinthian winning the race.

I'd like to see Magna Graduate in the winners circle.

I don't like Magna Graduate at all in this race, as the pace dynamics do not particularly suit him with Accountforthe Gold in the race. Instead of the easy situation he had in his two recent wins he will be forced to deal with a stronger pace much like the one that resulted in his dismal effort in the Donn. I simply do not believe he is that good a horse anymore. Had Student Council gotten a better pace to run at in the Razorback last time he almost certainly would have beaten Magna Graduate that day.

Obviously Corinthian is the horse to beat, and will probably win, but I plan to use both Pat Kelly horses and even Happy Hunting as well in the Pick-4, as there will be value in completely tossing the overrated Magna Graduate.

Haven't even looked at this race yet... I've liked the overrated Magna Graduate for a couple of years, so I'd like to see him win it. I'm just thankful that he's still running.

I would like Corinthian in this spot. He was one of my Derby faves early last year. If the track comes up wet, I really like Account for the Golds chances for the upset. I don't trust Magna Graduate at all, he seems to run either real well or not at all. Corinthian may freak out in the detention barn, paddock, gate, beer stand, little boys room or anywhere. So even though I like him, it's hard to take the low price that he'll probably be. 1 1/8 looks like a little too far for most of these. The old timer Evening Attire is 67% ITM at the distance and he might have another on the board finish in him. With all the speed signed on he might steal this. I'll play a tri with Corinthian over AG and EA both ways, and an EX BX AG with EA in case the big horse crumbles. If it's wet, AG on top of the tri.

The track will be a fast track on Saturday but it will be unseasonably cold. Accountforthegold is a quick NY bred and will ensure a fast pace but I do not believe this horse has the class or the talent to win this race.

Magna Graduate will not have it easy up front here and as other posters commented he wins his races when he dictates the pace. I don not forsee that in this race. He a toss at underlayed odds.

Corinthian is a decent horse and I guess I'll include him in multi race wagers but he'll be overbet. I've seen this horse lose at even money over the summer. He seems like a different horse but I still can't trust him. Happy Hunting was bred to be champion and it has not turnrf out that way thus far. He's been training well and his come back race was sharp. I think he's the one that offers the most value and as a lightly raced horse he might have some more upside.

"Happy Hunting was bred to be a champion." i suppose most thoroughbreds are. the 6 year old has 14 races under his belt. his sire Seeking the Gold is not known for producing sound horses. his dam G1SW Furlough has produced mediocrity other than the lightly raced Happy Hunting.

with all that black type top and bottom you can see how elusive good thoroughbreds are.
