Delta Sea ... well, he's the cheapest horse in the race, is moving up and probably has to pass all of them. Probably 5-1 today for his crack 4% trainer who brings him back in six days. Good luck. Dr Pleasure... well you bought in on the front page article I guess. Figure 5/2 at most. Why do you like him? You admire how he stopped like a trained pig at 4/5 at Keeneland 2 months ago? |

Who cares who uses steroids. It isn't a reporters responsibility to control steroids. It is Bud Selif's job to make sure baseball is free of steroids. Gammoms doesn't report on steroids because he doesn't care. What benefit does do to report a story about a team using steroids. If I had my way, steroids would be legal so we wouldn't have to hear about this garbage all the time.
Gammons makes no bones about being a Red Sox fan, and his reporting is fair and accurate. I love the trade rumors he has and all the leads. Now his knowledge of the game pales in comparison to Reynolds, Kruk and Morgan. But he isn't there for baseball startegy, he is there to report on rumors and try and report it as accurate as possible. I don't know how anyone can fault anyone for doing something they love. |
