Kev,I think the man you mentioned earlier(a Mr. Dan Quayle,)has used a good ho or two when he really had the need for it.I don't think he likes to use a good backho though. Some use a ho to dig and plow with, but some are afraid to use them for that(they just use a ho to touch various pieces of large equipment .)

Jeter wasn't even a top 3 player on the Yankees when they were winning all their championships.

I couldnt disagree with this more. There was nobody more clutch offensively through the palyoffs and world series during these 4 seasons. In addition he made critical plays in the field like that famous relay to the catcher against Oakland.

David Wright is hugely talented but the jury is still very much out on him. Hes not as good in the field as Jeter and he has struck out in many key situations this year, like last night when he was swinging for the moon when the Mets only needed a single (bases loaded 2 outs).

Buffy- The Braves are done for this year. The Braves lack the offensive weapons and the bullpen to put together the needed run this year. They would have to put together a streak of winning like 34 of 40 games to get back in the race. I dont see it happening, although they do play in a patsy division with only 1 good team.

I am going to keep hope alive! I think they are going to come out of their funk soon.

The Braves are a terrible team. They had their run, but the Mets are significantly better. The Braves will likely finish 30 games out of first.

We shall see. If I am wrong, I will own up to it. I just think that they are going to get into a swing soon. They are trying to find a life after the original "rocker" left. (I mean the pitching coach who use to "rock" in the dugout. Mazzone or however ya spell his name).

I dont think Mazzone is the reason the Braves stink. Chipper has been hurt and Andrue Jones cant carry a team with little offensive prowess. Their pithcing isnt that bad but isnt good enough to overcpome the very little run support.

Take Rivera off the team and they might win 1. Take Jeter off and they win all 3, maybe 4. Bernie and O'Neil were more valuable. The Yankees won with pitching anyway, something they are just beginning to realize now.
