Maybe I'm way off base here but, wouldn't the main reason you take a NY-bred be to be able to take adavantage of those juicy NY-bred restricted race purses?
Most NY-breds aren't worth much outside of NY. Even a mediocre NY-bred can roll up a nice bankroll but it needs to race in those NY-bred races. Couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic in your reply, Chuck..... I assume you were?
