I don't like Sir Percy here at all. To me he would be a big shocker.

What's everyone's hassle with Vengeance of Rain? No mentions??? I'm wondering if there's something I don't know about.

I've got no beef with him -- on my first run through the PP's, I liked him best.

There are more than a couple in here who wouldn't surprise me, including that one.

His best distance is 10 furlongs, but he seems fit and in good form...so many are coming off layoffs in here. On that basis, I like he and Pop Rock the most. I'm including Youmzain and the son of my favorite Euro male, Red Rocks. Take luck all.

Hasn't run at 12f for a long time (May 05). Why? He's been campaigned like a miler who gets a furlong or two further, not a 12f horse. Why?

Vengance of Rain seems pretty classy to me. Best last timeform, 1-1 distance.

I've only seen four horses in this field ever run before, so this is a shot in the dark.

Oh, I love German horses - been studying German pedigrees for 35 years, nothing I like better than seeing German-breds put it to the hoity-toity US/GB/Ire/Fr-breds. (Star Appeal! Silvano!) But his record in Germany indicates that he wasn't considered even a group-level horse. Now maybe he just loves desert air. We'll see.

I like Laverock due to the connections and the odds. Definitely worth a few dollars.

I will be shocked if the Pletcher horses hit the board. I'll definitely reevaluate my opinion of his corporation.
