I don't think I'd be touting how educated our discourse here is.
There's no corner on being "nice" here. I don't think there's any danger in that, nor is there one on speaking in a highly educated manner, while assuming others to be clueless when one does not agree.

The above shows tremendous ignorance and lack of maturity, I don't care how damn educated one thinks themselves to be or how knowledgable on the sport of horseracing.

Guys, this thread didn't, in any way, involve manners. It didn't have a thing to do with manners.

That, I don't think at any time has been the point. Nor was it sanctimonious on anyone's part, including what I offered.

At a point in life though, some sooner, some later, we all learn the skills that are needed in the exchange of opinion and ideas.

And there's nothing wrong with tolerance or respect or ignore. It ain't about manners.
