question 1, DRF Weekly: not really. Most charts/videos (even better) are available for free, and I found that my collection of DRF Weeklys were sitting in a corner collecting dust.

question 2: I haven't found much value in the Moss Pace figures, mostly because there doesn't seem to be a proper adjustment of the Pace numerical value for the distance of the race; i.e. a horse that earned a 100 pace figure at a mile then turns back to 6F, would be very hard pressed to duplicate that 100 pace value at 6F.
A 50% markup seems fair if they interest you, but I'm guessing you'll end up feeling the same way.

Phil, thank you for replying.

The Moss figs have no appeal here either. I use Bris pace figures consistently, but I don't get Moss's deal at all.

Marketing, solely, I doubt it, they're not available yet to all tracks, and at this point I don't see great use.

The Moss figures are only available on line and have nothing to do with the price increase for the newspaper.

$5.50 now... not that that's an unfair price. They could charge $10 and I would still buy it.

I haven't used the Bris much but I definitely like them better overall. Maybe if we had a good explanation of how they are calculated we'd like them better?
