Sunday Silence is the horse that got me interested in the game and he will probably always remain my all-time favorite racehorse. I'd love to have been able to go to US racetracks all these years and bet his offspring (even the ones that aren't so good). I know its a business, but him getting sold to Japan STILL makes me mad. Especially when we see how great a horse like Deep Impact is.
Now that Sunday is gone, there won't be many of his progeny left on the track, so while they are around I'll root for horses like Deep Impact, even if his every victory angers me just a little bit more.
This is the only son of Sunday Silence on the east coast (to my knowledge) and there is one in Colorado as well. (Eishin Masamune (JPN).
