Why? From a book of average mares, he's sired some nice horses who have only just turned 3.

I liked him so much as a race horse, but as a sire he produced very little.

Sadly, that DrugS piece is down now. Wish I could have seen it.

Monarchos hasn't done that poorly. 16th so far this year among third crop sires.
