This is the horse that could explode on the scene and win his way into the gate as the posible favorite. Would Frankle put him in if he wins whhat looks like only2 more races.

While I agree with you. This is not the accepted approach. Dosent this horse, with outstanding performances, that can move up dramaticly. With all the more seasoned horses showing holes in thre resume. Isnt this the type of horse that can remove some of the age old angles?

I read somewhere last fall that people close to this horse said he potentially had "Ghostzapper-like" ability. I chalk that up to the Frankel connection more than anything (and if anyone wonders, I believe he's sired by officer, not awesome again).
Regardless, the future book at wynn had him drop from around 60-1 to 30-1 over the past two weeks, meaning there must be some buzz around him. |

Curin had a tough time finding a flight for Stormello, and unless Frankel had Les Grand Trois hop aboard the same flight, he'll probably stay in California another week. |

By sheer coincidence I have his Maiden score on my Tivo from July 20th. Man was he impressive in that race. Pink Viper closed well in that race and just missed second, obviously there was no way either were going to get to the winner.
I too am now excited about seeing this horse run back. |

I'm sure he would have stayed in California if the Robert Lewis wasn't 2 turns. If they don't go to the Hutch, I have no idea what they'll do. Judging by his works, he's ready to roll. It's just a matter of finding a race for him.
Maybe a 7F allowance1X for 3-yo will fill at santa anita soon, but it's clear they have more ambitious goals than that. |
