ok, i'll play....

white.
high school diploma.
no one in my family interested in racing. have loved horses for as long as i can remember, and i guess that combined with a sheer competitive spirit made me a natural horse racing fan.
grew up in maryland, moved to arkansas about 12 years ago.
on the cusp of 40 (ouch).
started posting on the espn board back when war emblem won the derby.
not much of a bettor-no opportunity from home. don't make it to the track much either, certainly not as much as i would like.
happily married for 21 years. tony enjoys going to the track-or maybe he just enjoys me enjoying going to the track! he's taking me to arlington this year, sweet!

Keep us all posted, I may be living back in Chicago by then. If not, I can take a day off and come down for the weekend and hang out!

I think a mini DT Arlington get-together might be in order. What do you think?

all the chi people should do it, dell, scavs, you, brian, playa, plus any out-of-towners. maybe this should be officialized in the meeting area.

You're right about the Canterbury Invaders.

You also have to watch the Praire Meadows shippers. They tend to get overlooked.

If you follow the trainers you get a sense for which ones are bringing in live horses and know where to place them.

Old enough to be your daddy.
Racing and horses? Very young when it started, still in my blood.
