It's a mute point. Nobody is going to beat Nobiz, plubCornelio is riding his arse off. Notional is his closest challenge.

Pretty BOLD statement being made for the 3rd week of Feb. (a lot can happen in 2 months)
Regardless of Cornelio riding his ass off, he's never won a derby
But if your statement turns out to be true i hope you got him at 8-1 or better in the furtures b/c he's not gonna be anywhere near that on Derby Day

Daddy passed Nobiz in that one turn mile, after stalking. Passed and weaved through traffic like a buz saw.

You mean that one-turn Grade 1 Champange?? I think NoBiz turned a pretty good effort for his 2nd lifetime start. He clearly turned the tables on Scat Daddy last time out at Gulfstream.

I'm telling you guys, I thought if Drums of Thunder would break cleanly then he would upset Nobiz in the HB. Turns out it didn't matter, Nobiz ran away from him like Reggie Bush did to Urlacher. The Colt is special.

Daddy isn't a good front runner, or head to head. He is a stalker. Considering he ran head to head, didn't run bad. The race was a good learning one. Needs to sit off the pace setters to make a bid.

SD certainly could have worked out a better trip.

For sure, and he left plenty in the tank. 1st start since the cup, so he might be looking to breath hard. Who wants a horse to peek now anyway

You guys keep making excuses for these colts you seem to be emotionally attached to, there's nothing wrong with that but it doesn't help you at the betting window. Just think about the past Derby winners and how dominant they were - Smarty, Barbaro, Afleet Alex(he should have won the TC). Nobody made any excuses for these horses, they went out and dominated the field. I don't see that from Scat Daddy or Circular Quay. The jury is still out on Ravel and AG Sunday.

Attached? I never fall in love.

You don't want a horse to peek now, run lights out. If Tagg doesn't send out BIZ at the Youth, he didn't come back to good. These warm ups are to get the bankroll up. You don't need to win every race, to win the derby bumpercar event

Well, it's hard to make excuses for horses who have never lost leading up to the Derby(Smarty & Barbaro). AA, of course, didn't win the derby, and did have an excuse when he ran up the track at Oaklawn for one prep race. The jury is still out on every TC horse at this point.

But if Rick Springfield had elected to use "mute" it would have actually rhymed with "cute."

But I feel so dirty when they start talking cute
I want to tell her that I love her but I can't cause I'm a mute.
