Hey genius, you ran your mouth and called me a liar yesterday. Now you give your best imitation of a backpeddling coward. Fact is that they werent the original owners of the horse in majority, Sandy was. Sandy's not just a client, hes a friend. I found the horse, called Ricky and Sandy, negotiated it and got her under contract, then had to arrange a weird shipping deal as there was a quarantine going on at the time for Florida shippers who werent being allowed into NYRA. She had to go to the NJ stable of Ricky's at Monmouth until they lifted the ban.
Yesterday you were using words like liar, today its a little more wishy washy. Problem with guys like you is that are nowheer near as clever as you think you are. You make false accusations and threats, and then after a while you see that you goofed and don't have enough courage as a man to say you were wrong. Thats ok, guys like you are a dime a dozen.

Irregardless, you said slanderous things yesterday regarding Oracle's career, and you should learn to put your foot in your mouth when necessary. JMO, but I would apologize for that... smearing someone else's name doesn't make you look any better.

I can say whatever I want, it is a chat site. If I had a dollar for every bad thing Oracle said about someone I would be retired. I am not some coward that allows people to push me around. Unfortunately, a few people here put up with that crap.

I never accused you of not being an owner. I never accused you of not having a part in a couple horses with your group. I wished you luck with those horses and meant it(its a damn hard business and game, anyone in it needs all the support anyone can offer and kudos for actually playing the game).
I think there is a big difference between telling someone their opinion on a horse is bad, and calling someone a liar and accusing them of a falsehood that is business related. I can be course, I can be aggravating, but I never call someone a liar or tell them they arent who they say they are,etc. There is a very big difference between the two. And I think that 99.9% of the folks here would rather be called an ***hole than be called a liar.

Ok thats fine. When you wanna call me ***hole or anything else, hey thats fine, everyone has an opinion. I've tried to get along with you, don't really think you are a bad guy, and don't have anything against you until you start with the falsehoods. I admit I am wrong when dealing with people that admit when they are wrong. Oracle has never been wrong about anything in his life. From the first time I posted here Oracle went off on how syndicate owners aren't really owners and how we think we are. Guy is a jealous jerk. Probably couldn't come up with the money to buy into a horse anyway.

Why do you always bring this up? Who cares? The truth of the matter is, once that racehorse is retired, do you still own it? Does it stand stud at your farm of choice? Just wondering...

Yes I still own my horses when they retire. What kind of question is that? It would stand stud at whatever farm they decide on. Would I get a check for the money he made in his stud career? Of course. If they didn't even have a stud career I would keep the horse. These aren't cheap horses. Lets say my percentage on each costs more than a new car. If I wanted to own an entire horse I could just buy some claimer and when his career is over send him to be slaughtered. I just prefer the better horses.

Look, I never once said that, you are lying again. Go back and show me the post where I say that syndicate owners arent really owners. They damn sure are!!! I told you a funny story about syndicates(and I remember it well) and you have tried to twist that into me saying something else. The story was meant to be funny and believe me, it is funny if you are ever there.
The story I related was that ocsacionally up here you will run into two-three maybe four people in one night out that tell you that their horse is running tomorrow. YOu ask him who it is and they all say the same name. Its truly a funny story that actually has happened because to those hwo dont understand syndicates and how they work, they scratch their heads and say but we just met the guy who owns the horse at the last bar we were in. Its not a story that knocks syndicate owners, it was a story that shows how funny a night out here can be. Many owners(including Lans) start out as syndicate owners to get their feet wet and understand the business and the game. Its limited risk and by buying into a few of them at a smaller share you get to cover your ass better with less exposure, like a mutual fund as opposed to a single stock. Like a mutual fund the syndicate head acts as the fund manager acts. Selecting who to buy and sell, at what price, etc.
Now look, you can toss all the **** against the wall and hope thats oem it sticks, but the truth is I never said any such thing. Could we dispense with the bull**** and lies please?
