Well good.. you totally are in agreement then with the philosophy and approach being taken by DT Stables.. An non-investment, hobby opportunity for people who are "wealthy" collectively via a one time buy-in of $500. No other expense...

We are endeavoring to bring people into racing virtually risk-free, past the initial contribution. We are utilizing the generosity of Chuck Simon to absorb the day rate to eliminate the monthly fee partnership scenario. Not to impune other partnerships, but this isn't Soveriegn, Solaris, Karakorum or Castle Village...

It's a group of people that want to experience the game without the spectre of monthly expenses. We will be getting together at racetracks where Chuck (FG, CD, TP, SAR, etc..) competes for fun, and hopefully watch our horse(s) run.. It is a unique opportunity for most of the people who have gotten involved, and their excitement at being a part of it won't be detered by brickbat wielders and naysayers.

Default And another thing..

And as an aside, in regards to your non-so-veiled insult, take a look at Chuck's numbers "outside Kentucky"... 30% W/70% ITM at FG right now..

Good luck to all involved Steve. This is not the normal partner. I hope Charlie wins 100% of the time.

Sorry I stepped on your parade alittle.

Check your numbers on Saratoga, all the CD shippers the last few years have sunk, not just Charlie. It appears your talking about a 2nd, or 3rd division type horses. I only really watch Division1 types.

Good luck folks

Talking

I hope Mister B isn't some twisted reference to MrB

I don't think he doesn't understands this partnership. If it weren't for the generousity of Chuck and Steve, I wouldn't be able to do his.

I know I won't make any money. It was the expenses that stopped me from even thinking about trying this.

btw

Chuck you're not going to buy any of Linda Rice's horses are ya. I hear they are horrible

in case the typed word doesn't convey it
I am only teasing, Chuck.

I am getting excited. I told all of my friends and they are excited for me.
This is a big deal to me. To be able to open up a racing form or program and see your horse listed under your stable. To hear the call of the race with your horse's name (hopefully mentioned more often later in the race) "and at the wire it's.."

I just don't know if the poor horse can carry all of us across the finish line. I'll start dieting today

exactly...I am not a wealthy man...most likely never will be and have 4 young kids and this is probably my only shot to get involved. I could care less if the horse or horses finishes up the track every race. I can still say...."this is my horse!" even if only 1 or 2 percent of it!! What Steve and Chuck are doing is fantastic, even if it does fail in the end. As someone says...you never know!
