Interesting what Catalano had to say after the race:

"Things went her way and she was good at the right moment when she won the Breeders' Cup," said Catalano. "But I've always thought she was a turf horse and I know now we've got to be strictly grass and that's that."

Wonder how Calabrese feels about that? I'd still love to see her in a dirt route race this Spring, so we'll see where they go from here.

I've never said she wouldn't destory everything on turf. I think she will -- I think she's a better horse on turf.

I've just said that until someone stepped up and showed that they were better than her on dirt in this crop....why pass the money and the prestige?

And yes, at the risk of a GFY, I'd still love to see her take on Grade I company with this 3yo crop around two turns.
