As far as another trainer getting one of the horses and running it in that trainers name goes; last year a guy I knew put me on to a horse that was from Fingers and shipped in to NY and was running under another trainers name. He found it out by going back to a past FL race and saw who the trainer was. However; I have to agree with CS that there are some definite holes in the story. Maybe Andy only wrote part of the story, heard from a MD friend that he isn't having the best of wagering years.

I think he wrote the whole story. And, you can tell your friend in Maryland he's wrong, Beyer's been doing very well so far this year.

Ouch . Didnot mean to step on toes. I'm sure Andy does just fine for himself. You Andys gotta stick together.

Wonder Why Same Stable 2 Different Trainers. I Am Assuming It Is Not A Stable With Many Horses. Also, Do Any Of You Buy That Crap About Not Caring About Cashing On $60 Or $70 Debut Winners?

I believe the story went that he didn't have enough stalls for his horses, so he had him in a Dubis Chaparoo stall. This type of stuff can play real havoc with trainer stats . We will never know about the "caring" thing though, although I hear he will have a new column in the DRF , "Ask Gisiuppe' "
