Anywho, I think Penn National made something like $400 million in revenue from slots at Charles Town in the last quarter of 2005. I can't even begin to imagine what the take would be from table games.

hard to tell where Ranson stops and Charles Town begins

Having been to Charles Town dozens of times, I can tell you it's a stone's throw away from the city hall where John Brown was tried and hanged. I'd say it's called "Charles Town" and not "Ransomn for a reason. There are some interesting things in Ranson though.

I mean, im not trying to make this into a pissing contest but I have been going to charles town since '93 and if you enter charles town from the front stretch you will see a sign that says "welcome to Ranson" probably 50 ft from the parking garage/barns.

I have a pretty good idea of what you’re alluding to when you say there are some interesting things in Ranson

I knew that was the address. The proof is in the pudding, next time you guys go up there enter from the front stretch, in the direction of ol' Shenandoah Downs hang a Louie at the 4-way stop sign then when you get to Philly's bar look for a Brown Sign on the left or Right hand side of the rode and tell me what it says.

I'm with slotdirt on this one...it's called Charles Town Races & Slots for a reason....and obviously Ranson is very close by. There are a thousand signs that say "Charles Town" & the address of the track is Charles Town by every source. Anyway, like you said...nothin' to get in a p'in contest over.
