DT Contest - Week 4

It's always nice when the local favorite wins at Golden Gate Fields - Congrats to Bwana Bull and those that picked him for the contest. He won without Russell Baze aboard who was still hurting from the four horse pile-up in the 8th race - for those that didn't see it, a horse that Jason Lumpkins was on broke down at the 3/8 pole and took out three other horses with him... other than Jason's horse, everyone got up a little more sore but none the worse for wear... RIP American Ivy, an Art Sherman horse (CORRECTION to original post in italics)

Everyone, give Miraja2 a round of applause - he's picking winners like a kindergartener picks his nose In only his 2nd week in the contest, AngelSita has a hold on 2nd place and Paisjpq is a strong 3rd. I'm holding steady at 20th and have decided that I will be mirroring the top 3's picks as closely as possible

Derby, you need to add a buck to everyone's total, if they got it right. I think it paid $11.80 instead of $10.80.

I was just thinking that the total was wrong, but I had the payouts as

6.60/3.00/2.20 = 12.80

I thought maybe it was just the ESPN results, but I looked at the results from equibase and they had the same payouts. Or am I doing drunk math again?

HA HA! And I only had ONE wine cooler (I am a cheap drunk). It is 11.80.

No need for applause. Typically when I have a good weekend (like I did this past weekend) I will follow it up with about 25 bad picks in a row. So it will be fun to watch how rapidly I fall from the top!
